Translating legal text is now days one of the most common tasks translators may assume. However, this responsibility is not that easy. This paper underlines legal translation and tries encompassing all what is related to this field of problems and difficulties and the differences between the legal terms in English and in French and as well between the two accents themselves British and American . Legal terms are made independently through the years and the different experiences of each and every state under different cultures and ideologies. The problem rising here is the equality of legal terms when translated from a given language into another and the way they are used with all the loads they contain.
