Authors : Mansouri Mohammed . Bouhara Hana .

Abstract

This study explores the impact of psychological capital (PsyCap) on work-related quality of life (WRQoL) among employees of Saidal Group, the leading pharmaceutical company in Algeria. Grounded in the HERO framework of PsyCap (hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism) and WRQoL models, the research investigates the nuanced dynamics within the Algerian pharmaceutical industry. We collected data from 51 participants at Saidal Group's West distribution center in Oran using validated questionnaires. Preliminary analyses revealed a significant positive correlation between PsyCap and WRQoL dimensions. Linear regression analysis further affirmed PsyCap's predictive power on WRQoL. The study's findings underscore PsyCap's pivotal role in enhancing WRQoL, contributing to the growing body of literature on positive organizational behavior. Limitations, such as the sample size, warrant caution when generalizing the findings. Future research should employ longitudinal designs and expand participant diversity to enhance external validity.
