Protecting Children From Forced Deportation In International Law

Authors : Chekirine Dilmi . Sakri Zoubida .

Abstract

Children are the vulnerable group that is always subject to the negative effects of international conflicts and wars. Parties to the conflict deliberately use non-military methods to influence the other party, including attempting to create a demographic shift in the areas they control through forced expulsion either to those areas or by forcing their inhabitants to leave. Although international law prohibits all acts of expulsion and forced deportation, the world is witnessing tragedies due to the violation of international law rules in this area by parties to the conflict.
