Abstract
Cybersecurity for children is one of the most important areas that Algeria has focused on within the framework of the e-government project. Therefore, the study aimed to identify the practical guide for parents, guardians and educators to protect children on the Internet, issued on July 15, 2020 by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications. It was found that its guidelines provide an applicable model that parents can use to protect their children on the internet, but as a measure, it is not enough on its own to protect child cyber security, as it needs legislative support.
