Abstract This work falls within the field of the science of place names in Amazigh in the Aures regions, in which we discussed the definition of place names and everything related to this science, then we collected the names of places in the three municipalities of Aures, the municipality of Tkout, Bouzina, and Manaa, our work was a field study regarding the naming of these places if they had the same name among the residents of these areas and the name given to them by the Administration, or there is a difference, we analyzed what we collected and entered these names on geographical maps to clarify the location of the studied places.
