الملخص
ملخــــص: لقد تطورت وسائل الاتصال في عصرنا تطورا ملحوظا نتيجة تطور التكنولوجيات المعاصرة، مما ساعد أيضا على تطور أساليب التعليم ومنها التعليم عن بعد، كنتيجة حتمية لهذا التطوّر، حيث أصبح هذا التعليم متاحا لجميع فئات المجتمع، وحتى للذين فاتهم وقت التعلم، كما استثمر هذا التعليم عن بعد في وقتنا الحالي ونحن نعيش زمن وباء كورونا، فوجدناه أسلوبا تعليما يحل محل التعليم التقليدي، لهذا نسلط الضوء على أهمية التكنولوجيا في التعلم عن بعد،وأنه يعتمد هذا النوع من التعليم على وجود المتعلم بعيد عن مصادر التعلم، في هذا البحث نعالج ماهية التعليم عن بعد، أشكاله، مبرراته، أهميته وأهدافه. وعلاقتها بالتنمية المعرفية للمجتمع الإنساني، انطلاقا من وفرة الشبكة العنكبوتية التي طوّرت التعليم عن بعد.
