Although the learning game experienced already its momentum in the communicative- oriented method in the mid-1970s, the interest in its adoption in foreign language teaching has been maintained to this day. Playing the game is fun, but this does not mean only a relaxed atmosphere, but also a successful learning effort. Playing has an important place in the teaching and learning process to acquire a foreign language, to expand the learner's knowledge, to master the basic skills, to improve discourse skills and to promote the partial competences of the learners. The adoption of a playful method is dependent on the teacher, who should not only manage the method but also identify with it. In addition, he should realize that a learning game is not a play thing, but rather a method of modern learning, learning theory and further a learning culture.
