أثر الاستعمار البريطاني على القيادة السياسية: في شمال نيجيريا نظرية شرعية

الملخص
لقد وجد المستعمرون البريطانيون الإسلام في شمال نيجيريا ليس دينا متمكنا في النفوس فحسب؛ ولكنه قوة حاكمة، ودولة مسلمة؛ فقاموا بكل جائز ومستحيل في سبيل القضاء على آثار الإسلام، وبدلوا الشريعة بالقانون، بل وما غادروا البلاد إلا وتركوا فيها بَصماتهم، وسلبوا من الشعب سماتهم، فمن هنا استمر الحكم والسياسة والحياة الاجتماعية على ما وضعوه. فعلى هذا يهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان أثر الاستعمار البريطاني على القيادة السياسية في شمال نيجيريا، فأورد الباحثان وضع شمال نيجيريا قبل الاستعمار، ودخول الأفرج إلى افريقيا عموما، وإلى شمال نيجيريا خصوصا، ثم ذكر بيّنا أشكال الاستعمار، وأثره على القيادة السياسية في شمال نيجيريا. وفي نهاية البحث قرر الباحثان على أن السلامة من حبائل الاستعمار البريطاني؛ هي العودة إلى السياسة الشرعية التي سادت البلاد نحو قرن ونصف، والأمن موفور إلى درجة كبيرة في تلك الآونة. Abstract: British colonialism found Islam in northern Nigeria not only as a religion that had a vast followers, but also ruling power followed by the first class rulers of the time. For having seen that, they prepared to remove the Islam from the hearts of the servants, and eliminate the power of Sokoto caliphate with everything possible in order to replace the Sharia with Constitutional law, and make the religion affairs an optional issue in the name of freedom. Based on this, this research aims to analyze the impact of British colonialism on the political leadership of northern Nigeria. The researchers stated the political system in northern Nigeria before the British colonialism, and the emergence of British into Africa in general, and northern Nigeria in particular, with special reference to the impact left by the colonial masters on the political leadership in northern Nigeria. Finally, the researchers underscored that; there would be no way of eliminating the negative impact of colonialism on the political leadership of Northern Nigeria unless the government returns to the Islamic political system that prevailed in the country for nearly a century, where the security was provided to a large extent at that time.
