نظام الحكم في شمال نيجيريا: الإنجازات والتحديات من منظور إسلامي The Political System In Northern Nigeria: Achievements And Challenges From Islamic Perspective

الملخص

يهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان نظام الحكم في شمال نيجيريا قصدا للمقارنة بين نظام الحكم قبل الاستعمار وبعده، وذلك من خلال تناول إنجازات وتحدياتهما، ومناقشتهما من منظور إسلامي، لتفضيل النظام الصالح لتطور شمال نيجيريا، وحفظ حقوق وكرامة مواطنيها وقيمهم. فاتبع الباحثون في ذلك المنهج الوصفي مدعوما بالمنهج التحليلي والنقدي. وقد توصل الباحثون إلى أن نظام الحكم في شمال نيجيريا مرّ بفترتين: فترة ما قبل الاستعمار والتي بعده. وحقق نظام الحكم قبل الاستعمار نجاحا باهرا، وثمارا يانعة، منها: تجديد وضع الإسلام، وتوفير الأمن في مجتمات شمال نيجيريا، أضف إلى ذلك ما بلغته الإمارات الإسلامية من ازدهار في العلم، ونبوغ العلماء. وأن النظام الديمقراطي من ناحية أخرى، لم يترك للمؤرخين إنجازات رائعة يتداولونها للجيل القادم، وذلك لعدم انسجامه مع قيم وعادات أهالي شمال نيجيريا. وأخيرا قرر الباحثون على أن نظام الحكم الذي نفّذ قبل الاستعمار في شمال نيجيريا هو النظام الصالح للتطبيق في هذه المنطقة، وذلك لانسجامه مع قيم أهالي المنطقة. This reserch aims at analyzing the political system in northern Nigeria in order to compare its system before and after the colonialism, and choose the one which is better for the development of northern Nigeria, the rights and dignity of its citizens and values, through addressing their achievements and challenges. The descriptive supported with the analytical methodology have been applied in carrying out the research. Finally, the researchers have found out that the political system in northern Nigeria had gone through two periods: the pre-colonial and post-colonial periods. Several positive achievements had been recorded during that period including: the reviving of Islam and providing security in the communities of northern Nigeria. On the other hand, the democratic system has not left great achievements for the historians to pass because of its inconsistency with the values ​​and customs of the people of northern Nigeria. Finally, the researchers underscore that the political system implemented before the colonization in northern Nigeria was the best system worthy for implementation in this region, due to its consistency with the values ​​of the people of the region.
