الملخص
تعد جريمة الاتجار بالأطفال من أكثر الجرائم استهجانا في الثقافة الشعبية العالمية ونظرا لخطورة هذا النشاط الإجرامي والذي بعد انتهاكا لحقوق الإنسان أكرم مخلوقات الله في أكثر المراحل النمائية حرجا وحساسية حيث يتحدد فيها مفهوم الإنسان للحياةـ فان تعرّضه لوقائع مؤلمة وقاسية قد يؤدي إلى اختلال توازنه النفسي ويصبح مهيئا للانحراف؛ إضافة إلى الآثار العميقة التي قد تلحق بالمجتمعات والدول. ولذلك ستحاول هذه الورقة البحثية تسليط الضوء على أهم الأسباب الكامنة وراء الاتجار بالأطفال وكذلك أثارها النفسية والاجتماعية. أو بتعبير آخر أهم الظواهر الإجرامية الكامنة وراء الاتجار بالأطفال التي تجاوزت قدرات الحكومات والمنظمات الدولية، وأصبحت من أهم المشكلات الدولية. والتي تتطلب تضافر الجهود.
