As the world moves into the second decade of the 21st century, the technological advancement has changed the way of doing everything and education is no exception. Recently, the so-called “Flipped Classroom” (henceforth, FC) has emerged as a blended learning model. In this model, lessons and out-class activities are reversed. Accordingly, this endeavor was conducted with an aim to measure the impact of online videos on the students’ writing performances. To this end, a pre-experimental research method was conducted with 35 EFL students enrolling in the English section at Cheikh Larbi, Tebessa University, wherein they took a pre-test before the intervention and a post-test right after. For an in-depth analysis a post-interview was conducted. The findings revealed an increase in the students’ writing achievements, besides some positive attitudes were reported by the students. Therefore, some recommendations have been provided.
