ترجمة الخصائص الثقافية في نصوص التبسيط العلمي بين التوطين والتغريب

الملخص
تعد ترجمة النصوص العلمية المبسطة أحد أبرز المواضيع التي تشغل دراسات الترجمة في الوقت الحاضر، وذلك لما تتصف به من صعوبات تواجه المشتغل بها. فهي ترتبط بالعلوم من ناحية مواضيعها وبالأدب من ناحية أسلوبها الذي يفرض على المترجم التعامل مع الخصائص الثقافية للغة المنقول إليها. تسعى هذه الدراسة لمعرفة الاستراتيجيات التي تمكّن المترجم من التغلب على الصعوبات الناجمة عن الاختلاف الثقافي بين اللغات، ومعرفة أيها أنسب للنص العلمي المبسط. وذلك من خلال مقارنة ثلاث ترجمات لكتاب "ستيفن هوكينغ Stephen Hawking" "موجز تاريخ الزمن" A Brief History of Time". وقد كشفت الدراسة أن المترجم بين التوطين والتغريب، ينزع للغة أحيانا ويميل للثقافة أحايين أخرى، تتحكم فيه العديد من العوامل والأسباب. La traduction des textes scientifiques vulgarisés est considérée comme l’un des thèmes les plus pertinents qui préoccupent les études traductologiques contemporaines. Comme elle est liée à la science dans son contenu et à la littérature dans son style, le traducteur confronte de nombreux problèmes, principalement d’ordre culturel. A travers la présente recherche, nous essayons de mettre en exergue, les stratégies et utilisées par le traducteur pour surmonter les difficultés causées par les différences culturelles entre les langues et connaitre celles qui est la plus propice pour traiter le texte scientifique vulgarisé. Comme étude de cas, nous avons opté pour « A Brief History of Time » de Stephen Hawking et sa traduction en arabe. L'étude a dévoilé que le traducteur étant entre la domestication et l'exotisation tend tantôt vers la langue et s'attire tantôt vers la culture influencé par beaucoup de facteurs et de motifs. Popular science texts translation is considered as one of the pertinent topics in the field of translation studies. As it is related to science in its contents and to literature in style, the translator will be exposed to many difficulties, mainly the cultural problems. This study aims at investigating the strategies, which will be used to overcome the cultural differences and to know the suitable one in dealing with popular science text. As a case study, we chose ‘A Brief History of Time’ of Stephen Hawking and its translation into Arabic. The results of the study showed that the translator could choose between domesticating his/her translation, or to foreignizing it according to many factors related to the language and the culture of texts.
