Aẓeṭṭa yettwassen seg talliyin imenza, armud-a yettwassen ɣer ugdud n tefriqt n ugafaseg-a ufit hasut deg yinilen n yiferɛunen, neẓra assaɣ yellan jar-asen d imaziɣen yerni tfelwiyin d unuɣen n taṣili i d-yessenɛaten tɣawsa-aya (Ministére de l'agricultureet de la réforme agraire, 1975). Is a reflecting mirror of the human level and his adeas even the message he wants to deliver through out production. Weaving has been known since ancient times, as it is a well-known activity among North Africans, through the furnishings found in the tombs of the pharaohs ( the relationship between them and the amazigh)in addition to drawings and paintings in Tasili. (Ministére de l'agricultureet de la réforme agraire, 1975) Weaving in Babar has great value for its people, even in Algeria and the word, and this is due to their dedication to work and their reliance on traditional means to produce antiques that carry symbols and colors within them that reflect the lifestyle of the chaoui commutity. The Babar carpet is considered the symbol of the region and the craft of it’s inhabitants. Wool is used in it, which is the raw material that goes through several stages to be prepare it far weaving . in this article we have defined some of the terms related to the research topic, after that we presented the stages of preparing wool to prepared for weaving. We also mentioned all the means used in this process in all stages, how to use them and the difference between them. At the end of this article, we explained the types of fabric, and the difference between them of color and dimensions.
