Authors : Senouci Mayada . Makhlouf Abdelkader .

Abstract

Alzheimer's disease is a significant global health challenge, and it's crucial to understand its symptoms for early diagnosis and effective interventions. While language loss is a well-known symptom, many other skills and abilities are also affected. Changes in the temporal lobe of the brain impair language processing in Alzheimer's patients. Even in the early stages, caregivers may notice a decline in formal language, which is essential for verbal communication. Symptoms include word loss, confusion in conversations, difficulty following a storyline, and decreased speech. Based on a qualitative content analysis, this paper is dedicated to investigating and delving into the mysterious nature of this condition. This paper also aims to explore the nature of Alzheimer's disease, focusing on its communicative symptoms and using a female patient as a case study. Effective social interaction plays a crucial role in improving the social skills of individuals with Alzheimer's, as discussed in this research.
