Experience De Promotion Du Bilinguisme Au Lycee Bilingue De Bafoussam

Résumé
Cette recherche analyse l’expérience de promotion du bilinguisme à-travers le module Co-curriculaire du Lycée bilingue de Bafoussam au Cameroun. Le travail se donne alors pour objectif de comprendre l’incapacité de ce module à promouvoir la pratique du bilinguisme chez les acteurs de cet établissement scolaire. Une enquête adossée sur l’observation participante, la recherche documentaire, l’entretien semi-directif et le questionnaire, a révélé que, la non maitrise du module, ainsi que l’inadaptation des ressources mobilisées hypothèquent sa mise en œuvre et de façon incidente, la pratique du bilinguisme dans cette institution. Des propositions ont été formulées à l’effet d’y remédier. This research analyzes the experience of promoting bilingualism through the Co-curricular module of the Bafoussam Bilingual High School in Cameroon. The objective of the work is then to understand the inability of this module to promote the practice of bilingualism by the actors of this school. A survey based on participant observation, documentary research, semi-structured interview and the questionnaire, revealed that the lack of mastery of the module, as well as the inadequacy of the resources mobilized jeopardize its implementation and incidentally , the practice of bilingualism in this institution. Proposals have been made to remedy this.
