الملخص
نقصد بالفضاء المتوسطي المجال الجغرافي الممتد على طول ضفتي حوض البحر المتوسط الذي يربط أوروبا في الشمال والدول العربية الإسلامية في الجنوب. بشكل يربط بين الأهمية الإستراتيجية والخصوصية في كافة النواحي. ترتبط أطراف هذا الحوض المتوسطي علاقات تاريخية، ثقافية، سياسية، واقتصادية متميزة، تعكس التاريخ المشترك الذي يربط بين شطريه، وهو تاريخ حافل يتأرجح بين التحالف والتعاون تارة، وتاريخ من الصراع والاحتدام تارة أخرى وهذا على إمتداد الأزمنة. تهتم الورقة البحثية بتسليط الضوء على هذه الأهمية الإستراتيجية التي يعكسها الفضاء المتوسطي وعلى أهم الخصوصيات التي تميز المنطقة عن غيرها من الفضاءات الحيوية على خريطة العالم، وذلك وفق مقاربة وصفية تحليلية، نتمعن من خلالها في كل الجوانب والأبعاد المرتبطة بهذه الخصوصية لمنطقة المتوسط. Mediterranean space is the geographical area along the banks of the Mediterranean basin, which connects Europe in the north and Arab States in the south. In a way that links strategic importance to privacy in all respects. The periphery of this basin has distinct historical, cultural, political and economic relations, reflecting the common history that binds its parts, a history that swings between alliance and cooperation, and a history of conflict and tension. The paper focuses on highlighting this strategic importance reflected in Mediterranean space and on the most important characteristics that distinguish the region, following an analytical descriptive approach, through which we reflect on all aspects and dimensions associated with this specificity of the Mediterranean region.
