Résumé
La dénomination est un phénomène universel, les sociétés se distinguent en possédant un système de normes complexe qui les régissent. Notre contribution tente de traiter les questions relatives au prénom et aux choix dénominatifs auxquels les auteurs algériens recourent afin d’identifier l’homme fondateur de la nation algérienne moderne, l’émir Abdelkader. Le prénom servira de point de départ pour explorer les formes dénominatives existantes dans les articles scientifiques. Le vocable initial Abdelkader entre en connexion avec d’autres items et syntagmes formant un paradigme dénominatif intéressant à examiner afin de dégager les particularités organisationnelles. Sous l’angle théorique combinant l’onomastique à l’analyse du discours, l’étude démontre que les instances énonciatives mobilisent des formes variées en fonction des champs discursifs, des classifications s’opèrent.
