Abstract: The Socio-didactics has a direct relationship with didactics and sociology; it links between them in order to study some phenomena related to language in a social context. In this article we will speak in details about the Chaoui dialect and its usage in Batna city; we conducted a research about the impact of the opening of the department of amazigh language and culture at Batna University on the usage and revival of the chaoiu dialect in this (Hamla 1). In order to collect the necessary data, we prepared two questionnaires: the first was given to the students, where as the second was dedicated for the city in habitants; on the other part, we have spoken about the rural migration and its importance starting from their first entry from the village to the city (Hamla 1); because whenever the rural migration increases, the number of inhabitants who renew the Chaoui dialect increases with it; as a consequence, people use to express themselves using a Chaoui dialect and they give it much value over the other languages such as the Arabic Algerian dialect and French.
