الملخص
تهدف الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على تاريخ تطور تخصص طبي هام جدا وهو الطب النسائي خلال العصر الوسيط في المغرب الإسلامي، مع توضيح وإبراز تطوره والأمراض التي قام بمعالجتها خلال تلك الفترة، وذكر الأطباء الذين ثبت ممارستهم لطب النسائية آنذاك على ضوء المصادر المتوفرة لدينا. يعتبر طب النسائية من التخصصات المهمة كونه يعنى بداية بالتوليد الذي قامت به النسوة والقوابل، ومع ملاحظة بعض حالات عسر الولادة أو تأخر الحمل لدى يعضهن من جهة، وظهور بعض المشاكل التي تعترض النساء في صحتهن من جهة أخرى، حتمت على الأطباء بأن يأخذوا على عاتقهم تطوير العلاجات الخاصة بالنساء. The study aims to shed light on the hi story of the development of a very important medical specialty, namely gynecology, during the Middle Ages in Islamic West, clarifying and highlighting its development and the diseases it treated during that period, and mentioning the doctors who were proven to practice gynecology at that time in light of the sources available to us. Gynecology is considered one of the important specialties as it is primarily concerned with obstetrics performed by women and midwives, and with the observation of some cases of dystocia or delayed pregnancy in some of them on the one hand, and the emergence of some problems that women face in their health on the other hand, it has made it necessary for doctors to take it upon themselves to develop Treatments for women.
