الملخص
تسلط صفحات هذا المقال الضوء على إمانويل دارندا(Emanuel d’Aranda) الذي خدم المسيحية بوفاء، وهو المنحدر من منطقة بروج البلجيكية، وقد عاش أسيرا في مدينة الجزائر بين سنتي 1640 و1642، بعد أن أطلق سراحه في عملية تبادل الأسرى كتب تأليفه:Les Captifs d’Alger d’après la relation de Emanuel d’Aranda jadis esclave à Alger (XVIIème siècle) ، الذي حدثنا فيه عن قصص عديدة لأسرى تعرف عليهم في حمام علي بيتشين خصوصا، وفي مدينة الجزائر عموما، لكن المتصفح لهذا التأليف يجد صاحبه يجسد خدمة وفية للدين المسيحي والدفاع عنه بكل جرأة. من هو إمانويل دارندا؟ ما هي محتويات تأليفه؟ فيما تمثلت خدماته الوفية للمسيحية؟ وهل كان صادقا أم عكس ذلك؟ هذا ما نود التعرف عليه. The pages of this article shed light on Emanuel d'Aranda, who loyally served Christianity. He is from the Belgian region of Bruges. He lived as a prisoner in the city of Algiers between the years 1640 and 1642, after he was released in a prisoner exchange.
