الملخص
مَوْضُوعُ الخِيَالِ الْعِلْمِيِّ مِن المَوَاضِيعِ العِلْمِيَّةِ المُهِمَّةِ الَّتِي وَجَدتْ فيها الفُنون مَلَاذًا، وَمَجَالَ إِبْدَاعٍ يَتَعالَى عَلَى الوَاقِعِ، أَوْ يُحَاوِلُ اسْتِدعاءَهُ، لِيخرجهُ مِنْ الأَحْياز الضَّيّقَةِ، إِلَى الأَفْضِيَةٍ الأَرْحَبِ وَالأَوْسَعَ، ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ تِقْنِيَّةٌ فَنِّيَّةً، فَحَسْبُ، إِنّه مجالٌ خِصْبٌ، لِيقُولَ الفَنُّ خِلَالَهُ الوُجُودَ، وَلِيُبَيِّنَ مَوْقِفَهُ مِنَ الآَخرِ، ولِيُمَارِسَ دَوْرَهُ الدَّائِمَ في تَجْرِيبِ الأَشْكَالِ الجَدِيدة، والْعَوالِمِ المُسْتَجدَّة، إِنَّ رِوَايَةَ الْخَيَالِ العِلْمِيِّ، وَسِينِيمَاهُ فَضَاءٌ مُهِمٌّ لِفَلْسَفَةِ الرِّوَايَةِ والسِّينِمَا، حَيْثُ نَتَجَاوزُ خِلالَ دِرَاسَتِهِمَا اللُّغَتَيْنِ السَّرْدِيَّتَيْنِ، إِلَى المَقُولَاتِ الفَلْسَفِيَّةِ الكُبْرَى وَرَاءَها، وهو ما نحاولُ قراءتَهُ ومقاربتَهُ خلالَ قراءَةٍ سِيميو ثقَافيَّةٍ لرواية "الجسد المضيف"، وفيلم المضيف لـ "ستيفاني ماير". Abstract: It is a truth generally acknowledged that science fiction is one of the pertinent branches in fiction that the literary world gave birth to. As a creative genre of fiction which is future-oriented, science fiction is way ahead of reality. An important reality about this typical genre in literature that it is not a merely sub-division that addresses typical literary issues, more than this , it is perceived as a fruitful and speculative mode by which artists can approach a plethora of innovative matters from different yet modern perspectives. To this end and based on these grounds, it is worthy of note to state that novels in science fiction exemplify a thoroughly quintessential area that is worth spotting light on. Indeed, in these novels, the major emphasis is no more put on the narrative languages, but mainly on a host of underlying philosophical concerns Which we're trying to read and approach during Simio's cultural reading of 'The Host Body', and Stephanie Meyer's host film.
