الملخص
الملخص: تسعى هذه الدّراسة إلى الكشف عن صورة الآخر في الرواية العربية الحديثة والمعاصرة، إذ شغلت ثنائية الأنا والآخر اهتمام العديد من النقاد الباحثين وأفردوا لها فصولا في كتاباتهم النقدية محاولين الكشف عن العوامل الرئيسة التي أسهمت في تشكّل هاتين الثنائيتين، فمن خلال ثنائية الشّرق والغرب ظهرت ثنائية الأنا والآخر. فالأنا تنظر إلى الآخر نظرة احتقار وتجعله أدنى مرتبة منها، وهذا ما جسّدته نظرة الغرب للشّرق والمستعمِر للمستعمَر، وهذا ماعالجه "محمد المنسي قنديل" في روايته "يوم غائم في البر الغربي" إذ تطرق إلى مسألة الصّراع بين الأنا والآخر أو بين الشّرق والغرب، إذ يبدو الشرّقي في هذه الرواية بدائي سوهمجي يفتقر لأدنى شروط الحضارة وأبسط المؤهات التي تمكنه من التّعايش مع الذّات الانجليزية . Abstract :This study seeks to reveal the image of the other in the modern and contemporary Arab novel, as the duality of the ego and the other occupied the interest of many research critics and devoted chapters to it in their critical writings, trying to reveal the main factors that contributed to the formation of these two dichotomies. And the other. The ego looks at the other with a look of contempt and puts it inferior to it, and this is what was embodied by the West’s view of the East and the colonizer of the colonizer, and this is what Muhammad al-Mansi Qandil dealt with in his novel “A Cloudy Day on the Western Land,” as he touched upon the issue of the conflict between the ego and the other or between East and West. Al-Sharqi appears in this novel, primitive and barbaric, lacking the lowest conditions of civilization and the simplest qualifications that enable him to coexist with the English self.
