Leveraging Career Development And Management Support To Foster Organizational Citizenship Behavior Among Employees

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effects of the employees’ perception of the psychological contract fulfillment in regards of career development and management on the level of organizational citizenship behavior expressed by current employees. Using an empirical research, this paper addresses the degree to which employees who perceive a high level of fulfillment in terms of career development and advancement, show better individual initiative, civic virtue, and organizational loyalty. The population of the study consisted of all employees of Algerian private companies. The selected sample was targeted through an online administered questionnaire. The gathered data was processed and analyzed with the assistance of SPSS. Correlation and regression analysis were used to answer the research question.
