الملخص

واجه الإسلام ونبيه –صلى الله عليه وسلم-منذ ظهوره الكثير من التحديات، وكان من أشدها وقعاً الهجمات المغرضة التي شنها بعض المستشرقين الحاقدين، حيث شكلت حياة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وسيرته مادة دسمة للبحوث الاستشراقية بمختلف مشاربها. تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن بداية اهتمام المستشرقين بالإسلام ونبيه، وخلفياتهم الفكرية التي انطلقوا منها، والطرق التي اعتمدوها في بحوثهم، والصورة المسيئة التي رسمتها الكنيسة للنبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-في العصور الوسطى، وتناولها المستشرقون في العصر الحديث، ثم نشرتها وسائل الإعلام الغربي في وقتنا الحاضر. مع الوقوف عند بعض الكتابات المنصفة. والمعلوم أن أصل هذه الصورة المسيئة ظهرت هي العصور الوسطى محاولة من الكنيسة لمحاربة الإسلام، ثم نمت واتسعت وصدقتها العقول وتوارثتها الأجيال المتعاقبة. Since its emergence, Islam and its Prophet - May God bless him and grant him peace - faced many challenges, the most severe of which were the malicious attacks launched by some malevolent orientalists, Where the life and biography of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, constituted a rich material for Orientalist research in all its aspects. This study seeks to reveal the beginning of the orientalists ’interest in Islam and its Prophet, their intellectual backgrounds from which they started, the methods they adopted in their research, and the offensive image that the Church drew of the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - in the Middle Ages. It was addressed by the orientalists in the modern era, and then it was published in the Western media nowadays. With standing at some of the fair literature. It is known that the origin of this offensive image was the middle Ages, an attempt by the Church to fight Islam, and then grew, expanded, believed, and inherited by successive generations.
