Abstract

The contemporary electronic press assumes an unparalleled role in the realms of education and citizenship, wielding substantial capacity to train and educate local groups lacking regular access to information or obtaining it only in a limited capacity. Echorouk Online exemplifies this transformative role, functioning as a pivotal platform for disseminating values and culture, thereby affording opportunities for capability enhancement and knowledge integration. This research endeavors to scrutinize the citizenship values that Echorouk aims to instill in the public through its website. The findings of this study reveal that the Echorouk Online website incorporates numerous citizenship values aligned with the constitutional and moral laws of Algeria. These values are purposefully infused to fortify citizenship behaviors. This paper contributes to an enhanced understanding of the Algerian electronic press, specifically focusing on the Echorouk Online website, as a facilitator of citizenship values within Algerian society.
