Abstract
Abstract: financial identity is a copy of personal data attached to the client, Which expresses its financial position in its dealings with financial institutions and business companies which increased its value with increased economic trading and recent developments in the field of information technology, It needs legal protection from various attacks. Due to these attacks, which affect clients' financial privacy, extortion, defamation and exploitation of their funds, and thus expose them to legal problems This paper aims to determine the nature of the offence of theft of financial identity in Algerian legislation and to address the most important forms of attacks on financial statements by theft.
