Thanks to globalization, technology has been able to bring about radical changes in the banking sector, as it has led to changing the course of many banks in various countries of the world, by adopting electronic payment systems and services. Electronic payment methods are among the most important services offered by banks to their customers, which enable them to purchase their needs of goods and benefit from services, and withdraw cash according to an integrated system, as a result of benefiting from technical progress, in a way that led to reducing costs and Achieving benefits for all parties involved. Electronic payment methods are based on a contractual idea that links the electronic payment service provider and the electronic consumer who uses these means to meet his entitlements, and this contractual relationship bears duties and obligations between its two parties, which is the electronic payment contract. This research paper aims to detail the electronic payment contract, by defining its concept and the contracting parties, then addressing the legal nature of the electronic payment contract and the obligations arising from it.
