World Trade Organization And Its Impact On The Freedom Of Investment Contracts

Abstract

Abstract: In line with economic globalization, of which the World Trade Organization is one, States have had to keep pace with the changes taking place in the world by undertaking several reforms to conform to the laws and principles of the new world economic order. One of the most important of these is to promote foreign direct investment contracts and to remove artificial barriers to the freedom of investment and trade. Such measures by most developing countries are contrary to economic openness.
