Cyber Space As Existential Threat To Cultural Security In Algeria

Abstract

Cultural security is a strategic necessity for the survival of nations, despite the diversity of cultures and their differences in identities. It is one of the most important pillars of national security as it enables the preservation of autonomy and identity in the face of containment. However, it is currently facing a range of threats resulting from globalization in all its aspects, including the threats arising from the development of modern technologies. This has led to a shift in security concerns from defensive strategies to many countries, including Algeria, which emphasizes in its recent security discourse the need to address the threats posed by modern technologies. يعتبر الأمن الثقافي ضرورة استراتيجية لبقاء الأمم، على الرغم من تنوع الثقافات واختلاف هوياتها. وهو أحد أهم ركائز الأمن القومي لأنه يتيح الحفاظ على الاستقلالية والهوية في مواجهة الاحتواء. إلا أنه يواجه حالياً مجموعة من التهديدات الناجمة عن العولمة في جميع جوانبها، بما في ذلك التهديدات الناشئة عن تطور التكنولوجيات الحديثة. وقد أدى هذا الأمر إلى تحول الاهتمامات الأمنية من الاستراتيجيات الدفاعية إلى الاستراتيجيات الدفاعية لدى العديد من الدول، ومنها الجزائر التي تؤكد في خطابها الأمني الأخير على ضرورة التصدي للتهديدات التي تشكلها التكنولوجيات الحديثة.
