ملخص: هذه الورقة عبارة عن نقد لدراسة إدريس مقبول: "سيبويه معتزليا" من خلال عرض بعض الإشكالات المنهجية والتاريخية والمصطلحية والتأويلية، التي كانت سببا في اختلال تلك الدراسة وعدم وفائها بالدعوى التي مفادها أن سيبويه كان معتزليا في تأسيسه للنحو العربي. أي: أننا سنقوم بعمل حفري في دراسة المؤلف لنحدد مكامن الهشاشة ولنضع أيدينا على اللبنات التي متى ما حركناها تزعزعت بنية تلك الدراسة وتقوضت، فالدراسة قائمة على مقدمات مضمرة أو سرية بتعبير المؤلف: بقدر ما أعتبرها بمثابة المنطلقات الكبرى المؤسِّسة للدراسة فإني أعتبرها إشكاليةً إلى حدٍّ بعيد، لذا اخترت أن استعرضها بمداخلها الإشكالية حتى تنخرط أكثر في السياق النقدي الذي تضطلع به هذه الورقة. Abstract: This paper is a critique of Idriss Maqboul's study: "Sibawayh according to al-Mu'tazilah” by presenting some methodological, historical, terminological, and interpretative problems, which were a reason for the imbalance of that study and its failure to fulfill the claim that Sibawayh was a Mu'tazili in his founding of the Arabic grammar. That is, we will do an archaeological work in the author’s study to identify weaknesses and put our hands on the building blocks that if we move them, the structure of that study has been shaken and undermined. This study is based on implicit introductions which are considered highly problematic, so I chose to review them as problematic in order to engage more in the critical context in this paper.
