ملخص بالعربية: تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى الكشف عن التنوع الذي عرفه علم الكلام على مستوى أسمائه أولاً، وعلى مستوى تعريفاته ثانياً، لتبين من خلال ذلك: مــدى ثراء هذا العلم ابتداء من أصالة مصدره، وتنوع أسمائه، ومــدى تميــز علم الكلام عن الفلسفة والعديد من العلوم الإسلامية الأخرى، فضلا عن مــرونة هذا العلم ومقدرته على التطور مما يستدعي التجديد في موضوعه ومناهجه. لنصل في الختام إلى التوصية بضرورة استثمار الجهود التراثية في علم الكلام، وما يحتويه من ذخائر معرفية وأساليب دفاعية، لبناء علوم كلامية جديدة تساعدنا على تقوية حضارتنا، ومواجهة خصومنا. :Abstract This research paper aims to reveal the diversity known to the science of speech at the level of its names first, and at the level of its definitions secondly, to show through this: the extent of the richness of this science starting from the authenticity of its source, the diversity of its names, and the extent to which the science of speech is distinguished from philosophy and many other Islamic sciences As well as the flexibility of this .science and its ability to develop, which calls for renewal in its subject and methods In conclusion, we come to recommend the need to invest the traditional efforts in the science of speech, and what it contained in terms of . knowledge and defensive methods, to build new theological sciences that help us to strengthen our civilization and confront our opponents
