Impact Of Economic Changes On Algeria's Social Security System (study Of Its Analysis)

Abstract

Abstract : This study highlights Algeria's social security system and the challenges it faces in light of economic changes. Through this paper, we will attempt to diagnose the various factors that disrupt the social protection system in general, with a focus on the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study's findings reveal that Algeria's social protection system relies on funding from workers' contributions and state contributions. However, the latter is impacted by various economic changes, particularly since the state heavily depends on revenue from oil exports. This necessitates the exploration of new funding sources to mitigate the impact of volatile oil prices.
