This article examines the issue of territorial management of human resources competencies in Algeria, highlighting the challenges the country faces in terms of vocational training and skills, as well as the ongoing initiatives to improve the situation. We particularly examine the importance of coordination among the various actors involved in vocational training and the adoption of a national framework for the validation of competencies. We also underline the expected benefits of improving territorial management of competencies in Algeria, including better employability of workers, greater business competitiveness, and stronger and more inclusive economic growth. The methodology is based on the collection of qualitative empirical materials. The analysis of these materials was based on a thematic analysis, in a deductive approach. Finally, we propose perspectives for the future of territorial management of competencies in Algeria, emphasizing the need to continue investing in vocational training and strengthening coordination among the various actors to ensure sustainable economic and social development.
