الملخص
يتطرق هذا البحث إلى استخدامات تقنيات الجيوفيزياء الحديثة في الأبحاث الأثرية، فبعد استعراض المفاهيم العامة المتعلقة بعلم الأثار والجيوفيزياء، تم شرح وتبسيط جملة من أهم التقنيات الجيوفيزيائية ومبادئ عملها، ومن ثم ربط الاحتمالات الممكنة للنتائج وما تحدده من قياسات فيزيائية للموقع مع التفسيرات والاستنتاجات الأثرية، وهو ما كشف عن فاعلية كبيرة لأهم التقنيات الجيوفيزيائية المستخدمة في علم الأثار الحديث وعلى رأسها المسح الكهربائي، المغناطيسي، الراداري والصوتي، حيث أن القدر الكبير من المعلومات الدقيقة، المتكاملة والشاملة المتحصل عليها يتم جمعها بأقل جهد ووقت ممكنين، كما أن مساهمة هذه التقنيات لا تتعلق فقط بالمخلفات المادية للإنسان بل إنها كفيلة باستيضاح تام للجانب البيئي، بالإضافة لكونها تعزز بشكل حاسم المعلومات المتحصل عليها بالطرق التقليدية، وتدعم تقنيات ووسائل التسجيل والتوثيق، حتى أنه يمكن لكل تلك المعطيات وما يرافقها من المعطيات الستراتيغرافية والبيبليوغرافية أن تمنحنا حدا أقصى من المعلومات حول الظواهر الاثرية والبيئية بشكل قد يغنينا عن الحفرية الأثرية. . Abstract: This paper addresses the uses of geophysical techniques in archaeological research, Having reviewed the general concepts of archaeology and geophysics, The most important geophysical techniques and working principles have been explained and simplified, Thus linking the possible possibilities of the results and their physical measurements of the site with archaeological interpretations and conclusions, This revealed great effectiveness of the most important geophysical techniques used in modern archaeology, mainly electrical, magnetic, radar and acoustic scanning, As much accurate, integrated and comprehensive information obtained is collected with minimal effort and time, The contribution of these technologies is not only related to human material residues but also ensures full clarification of the environmental aspect. In addition, it critically promotes information obtained through traditional methods and supports registration and documentation techniques. So that all these data and the associated stratigraphic and bibliographic data can give us a maximum amount of information about archaeological and environmental phenomena.
