This paper investigates the validity and importance of integrating a Machine Translation Post-Editing training into the translation curricula in the Algerian universities. To this end, this study relies on a descriptive approach based on criticism and analysis, by reviewing some relevant experiments conducted in various universities worldwide, then comparing the results of those experiments. This study has revealed that although all the deficiencies and weaknesses of the MT, learning how to post-edits its output can help, in some circumstances, achieving human-like quality. Therefore, a specialized training in PEMT is a key factor for preparing the new generation of translators to take advantage of what technology offers us.
