ملخص:تتناول الدراسة واحدة من أهم المقاربات التي تم اعتمادها في تسيير شؤون الدولة والمجتمع في الدول غير المتجانسة وهي الديمقراطية التوافقية،تهدف الدراسة إلى إبراز دورها في تحقيق الاستقرار السياسي والسلم الاجتماعي في الدول العربية على ضوء التجربة اللبنانية باعتبارها تتميز بالتنوع الطائفي،وقد ساهمت الديمقراطية التوافقية نسبيا في استقرار مؤسسات الدولة اللبنانية السياسية والحزبية وتمكين الطوائف سياسيا، اقتصاديا،اجتماعيا وثقافيا،وجنبت البلاد سيناريوهات التفكك،إلا أنها تعاني من نقائص وعراقيل بسبب اعتمادها التوزيع الطائفي للمناصب والموارد على حساب الكفاءة،وتكريسها الولاءات الطائفية على حساب الولاء للوطن. Abstract:The study deals with one of the most important approaches that have been adopted in managing the affairs of the state and society in heterogeneous countries, which is consensual democracy.The study aims to highlight its role in achieving political stability and social peace in the Arab countries in the light of the Lebanese experience, as it is characterized by sectarian diversity. Consensual democracy has relatively contributed to the stability of the Lebanese state's political and partisan institutions,and empowering the sects politically, economically, socially and culturally,and has spared the country scenarios of disintegration.However, it suffers from shortcomings and obstacles due to its reliance on the sectarian distribution of positions and resources at the expense of efficiency,and Consecration of sectarian loyalties at the expense of loyalty to the state.
