Teacher-student writing conferences are individual conversations about the students’ writing or writing process. This study aims to investigate and shed some light on first-year students' attitudes towards conferencing feedback in EFL writing productions. It attempts to demonstrate that conferencing with students can help them improve their writing abilities. To this end, Data were collected through a perception questionnaire that was handed to a randomly selected sample of 15 first-year students at the department of English in the Ecole Normale Supérieure -Assia Djebar- de Constantine. The data analyses were descriptive. Results demonstrated that conferencing is an effective technique to improve students’ writing.
