The world has known important developments in the field of digital economy, which put the organization in front of the need for change, benefiting from the advantages of this digital transformation. However, this transformation knows many obstacles, including resistance to change by the human resource in every sector (public or private), and the importance of this research is to provide an actual view on the impact of resistance to change on achieving the global goals of digital transformation. It is worth saying that the Algerian organizations need for technological change at the present in order to impose their position locally and globally puts the leaders and researchers in the front to try to understand the differences of resistance in each sector, which is the goal of this research paper, and to reach it, a field study was carried out at the level of a group of public and private sector organizations, by distributing 50 questionnaires, where a set of results were reached, the most important of which is that the resistance differs greatly between the public sector and the private sector, this difference is primarily due to the way of dealing with Resistance by the leaders of each sector, then to the training process and the involvement of the human resource in the process.
