الملخص
This study aims to determine the extent to which the financial functions of Islamic banks contribute to the financing of economic sectors by clarifying the key role that Islamic banks can play as a result of investing their money in development projects. This study is based on the analysis and analysis of the employment of a group of Islamic banks in a number of Arab countries, including the Islamic Bank of Jordan, the Iraqi Islamic Bank, Sharjah Islamic Bank, Faisal Islamic Bank of Sudan and AlBilad Islamic Bank. The study showed that there is a diversification in the ways of employing funds, in line with the type of sector, with the aim of attracting new customers and providing funding to students according to their needs and the nature of their work. The study also found that the financial functions of the banks in question differ from one bank to another, meaning that there is no obligation or restriction on financing a specific sector. We find that there are priorities in financing that differ from one bank to another, according to the financing capacities that are due to different sources of financing, and are due to the existing funding requests, as well as the development policies that are applied in each country
