العرب في الجاهلية، دراسة في الحياة الاجتماعية والدّينية

الملخص
مما لا شك فيه أن العرب كانوا يعيشون حياةً مثل غيرهم من الأمم ، فيها جانبٌ اجتماعيّ متمثل في تلك العصبية التي كانت تجمعهم ، ومع ذلك فقد عرف العرب طبقيةً اجتماعية أيضا، اختلفت قوة وضعفا بين كلّ قبيلة وأخرى، إضافة إلى صفاتهم وأخلاقهم التي عُرفوا بها بين جيرانهم، كما كان للمرأة تمثيلٌ في ذلك المجتمع يأخذ بين الاحتقار والاحترام ، من الناحيّة الدّينية، ذكر القرآن أنّ العرب كانوا عَبَدَة أوثانٍ يعرفون الدِّين والتّديّن، ويهرعون مسرعين إلى ذبح القرابين تقرّبا للآلهة، فقد كان لهم أصنام ذكرها القرآن كاللاّت والعزّى ومناة، وكان منهم مَن تنصَّر أو تهَوَّد. Abstract Undoubtedly, Arabs were living a life like other nations, in which there was a social aspect represented in that fanaticism that united them. Nevertheless, the Arabs knew social stratification as well, strength and weakness differed between each tribe and another, in addition to their characteristics and morals with which they were known. Among their neighbors, as women were represented in that society, taking between contempt and respect, from a religious point of view, the Qur’an mentioned that the Arabs were idolaters who knew religion and religiosity, and rushing to slaughter sacrifices to approach the gods, they had idols mentioned in the Qur’an such as Al-Lat and Al-Uzza.
