الملخص
تمثل نصوص الرحلة مصدر من مصادر الكتابات التاريخية، كونها تعكس صورة من صور لأحداث عاشها فرد أو مجموعة أفراد في رقعة جغرافية ومجال زمني محدد، وتختلف هذه النصوص على حسب الشخص الذي أوردها من حيث نوعية النشاط الذي يمارسه مثل التجارة أو طلب العلم أو أداء مناسك، أو قائد عسكري أو جاسوس...، ومن بين هذه الرحلات نجد الرحلات التي نظمت من أجل استكشاف القارة الإفريقية، خاصة المناطق الداخلية، والتي ظلت حتى بدايات القرن 19م مجهولة، وشكلت مجاري الأنهار الإفريقية إحدى النقاط التي استقطبت اهتمامات الدول الأوربية وذلك بحثا عن مصادر جديدة للثروة ومناطق للأسواق لتصريف الفائض الإنتاجي، ومن بين الرحلات التي سندرسها هي رحلات "جون لويس بوركهارت" التي كان هدفها استكشاف منبع ومصب نهر النيجر، ولكن وجد نفسها في مناطق أخرى مثل صحراء النوبة وبلاد الشام، وشبه الجزيرة العربية التي اتخذ منها مركزا لتدريباته حتى ينجح في مهمة تنكره، رغم أنه لم يتمكن من انجاز الهدف الرئيسي له، لكنه نجح بشكل كبير في نقل معلومات جمة عن المناطق التي عاش بها أو زارها وذلك لدقة المعلومات التي تحصل عليها كونه يتمتع بقوة الملاحظة وحرصه الشديد للوصول إلى المعلومة، فماهي الأحداث التي رصدتها رحلات بوركهارت والتي أصبحت مادة تاريخية للباحثين، و ماهي الأمور التي أقفلت عنها، وإلى أي مدى كان بروركهارت يتحلى بالموضوعية؟ The texts of the trip represent a source of historical writings, as they reflect a picture of events experienced by an individual or group of individuals in a specific geographical area and time range. Or a military leader or a spy..., and among these trips we find trips organized to explore the African continent, especially the interior regions, which until the beginning of the 19th century remained unknown, and the courses of African rivers formed one of the points that attracted the interests of European countries in search of sources Among the trips that we will study are the trips of “John Louis Burckhardt” whose goal was to explore the source and mouth of the Niger River, but found itself in other areas such as the Nuba desert, the Levant, and the Arabian Peninsula, from which he made a center for his training until He succeeds in a mission that he denies, although he was unable to accomplish his main goal, but he succeeded greatly in transmitting a great deal of information about the areas in which he lived or visited, due to the accuracy of the information he obtains as he enjoys the strength of observation and his keen interest D To access the information, what are the events monitored by Burckhardt's travels, which have become historical material for researchers, and what are the matters that have been closed, and to what extent was Burckhardt's objectivity?
