آليات تطويع التابع بين الرواية والفيلم قراءة ثقافية في "في انتظار البرابرة " لــ ج م كوتزي

الملخص
ملخص: تحاول هذه الدراسة أن تقدّم قراءة ثقافية لرواية "في انتظار البرابرة" لــ ج م كوتزي والفيلم المقتبس عنها لتبيين وظيفة الرواية والفيلم في كشف أنظمة السلطة، وتقصي أنساق الهيمنة، ومحاولة تعريّة أساليب الهيمنة التي تستعملها الإمبراطورية في مشروعها التوسعي، وتأكيد بربرية وسائلها، وتحليل علاقات القوة بين سلطة الإمبراطورية والأطراف الخاضعة التي تجسّدها الرواية، والفيلم. إذ يتضمّن السرد الروائي/ الفيلمي خطابا ثقافيا ينتقد أشكال التمثيل، ويكشف الممارسات التي تعتمدها السلطة للحفاظ على الهيمنة. فما هي آليات إخضاع السكان الأصليين للمستعمَرة التي تتمظهر عبر الرواية، والفيلم؟ هل تتيح الشاشة للمتلقي نفس القدر من التفاعل مع الأحداث الذي تتيحه الكلمات؟ ABSTRACT : The importance of this study lies in its cultural reading of J.M. Coetzee’s novel Waiting for the Barbarians and its film adaption. It aims at highlighting the role of the novel and the film in revealing the systems of power and investigating the patterns of domination. It attempts to expose the hegemonic methods used by the empire in its expansion project, emphasizing the barbarism of its tools and analyzing the power relations between the authority of the empire and the subaltern. The fictional/filmic narrative includes a cultural discourse that criticizes forms of representation and exposes the practices adopted by authority to maintain its hegemony. Hence, what are the mechanisms used to subjugate the indigenous population to the colony that appear throughout the novel and the film? Does the screen allow the recipient the same amount of interaction with the events as words do? Key words: Authority; subaltern; subjugation; Body; counter-narrative; punishment; barbarians.
