Abstract- Early detection of abnormalities in the motor will help avoid expensive failure. It has been shown that bearing faults can be detected by several methods. This paper deals with the application of spectral analysis of stator current to detect bearing faults. To improve this technique, we add an anti-aliasing filter and located band frequencies of component faulty. In fact in these band frequencies the maximum amplitude represents the bearing faults. Experimental results are presented to illustrate the merits of the proposed improvements.
