In this study, we examine the relationship between Carbon Dioxide Emissions (CO2) and two Human Development Indicators (HDI): income and education. Applying Panel data analysis across three countries: Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco within 29 years. On a hand, the study was able to confirm the positive high effect of income and in the other hand; education had no effect on carbonization. Besides to that, we detected a unidirectional causality from education to income and another one from income to CO2 emissions. Meanwhile, we discovered a long-run relationship between variables. To close, the hypothesis of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) is note verified in the study period for our sample.
