الملخص
This article includes a semiotic reveal to the semantics of the characters’ names in the novel "family of pottery” by “Mohamed Meflah" through analysis of the features of nominal structures, their distinct formulations and their links with the novel wording from the perspective of Algerian reality shift paths referral at the turn of the present century politically, socially, economically and culturally, and what faltered from the shift of accumulations summed up in the title of the novel where cracking, failure, violence, alienation, displacement, confiscation, and materialist thing-becoming.
