There is a growing interest in advertisement translation. In fact, in fast and rapid growing economies, translation in general and advertisement translation in particular play a major role. The purpose of this paper is to investigate specialized translation in the field of economy and to analyze the translation of advertisements, the particularity of this type of translation, and the different difficulties that the translator encounter when rendering a S.L. advert into a target language. Major difficulties that the translator must overcome are cultural in addition to linguistic untranslatability. We will show that advertisement translation can be successful while using adaptation
