الملخص
يعالج هذا المقال إشكالية الآخر في الثقافة العربيَّة المعاصرة، حيث يعرض نظرة المثقف العربي الحديث والمعاصر إلى الآخر/ الغرب، كما أنَّه يعرض إشكاليات كانت حاضرة في التراث العربي الإسلامي وخاصة إشكالية العرب والعجم، وما هي المعايير التي كان يُستند إليها في التراث العربي الإسلامي لتصنيف الأمم، وما هو موضع الأمة العربية بالنسبة إلى الأمم السابقة، إن أهم ما نتوصل إليه من خلال هذا البحث هو أن المثقف العربي المعاصر اليوم بحاجة إلى ثقافة الاعتراف، ليقر أن الآخر/ الغرب اليوم هو الحامل للحضارة وعلينا أن نستفيد منها لأنَّ إنكارنا لهذه الحضارة يجعلنا خارج العصر وخارج التاريخ. This article addresses the problem of the other in contemporary Arab culture, as it presents the view of the modern and contemporary Arab intellectual to the other / the West, as it presents problems that were present in the Arab Islamic heritage, especially the problem of Arabs and Persians, and what are the criteria that were used in the Arab-Islamic heritage to classify nations And what is the position of the Arab nation in relation to the previous nations, the most important thing that we reach through this research is that the contemporary Arab intellectual today needs a culture of recognition, to acknowledge that the other / the West today is the bearer of civilization and we must benefit from it because our denial of this civilization makes us outside Era and out of date
