Impact Of Inflation On Economic Growth - Standard Study - Algeria (1990-2018)

Abstract
Abstract : The study aimed to clarify the impact of inflation on the Algerian economic growth through the standard study based on annual data for the period from 1990 to 2018, so it was reliance on economic variables: the rate of growth of per capita GDP as the dependent variable represents the economic growth rate and inflation as measured by the consumer prices index representing the independent variable. The results indicated that the fixed effects model suitable for study, and we have a long-term impact and negative inflation index on the rate of growth, the existence of a causal relationship with a long-term and one direction and this, according to the joint integration test of directness Résumé: L'étude visait à clarifier l'impact de l'inflation sur la croissance économique algérienne à travers l'étude standard basée sur des données annuelles pour la période de 1990 à 2018, donc elle s'appuyait sur des variables économiques: le taux de croissance du PIB par habitant comme variable dépendante représente le taux de croissance économique et l'inflation mesurés par l'indice des prix à la consommation représentant la variable indépendante. Les résultats ont indiqué que le modèle à effets fixes convenait pour l'étude, et nous avons un impact à long terme et un indice d'inflation négatif sur le taux de croissance, l'existence d'une relation causale avec un long terme et une direction et ce, selon le test d'intégration directe de la franchise.
