Arabs have been interested in Moliere theatrical works since the dawn of the modern Arab theatre, and the best evidence, the connection of Moliere’s name with the first Arab’s play (Scrooge). This paper will deal with the extent to which Arabs are affected by the humorous nature, and the international human issues presented by Moliere’s comedy. As well as, to reveal the way Arab dramatists deal with the Moliere text in the terms of translation and quotation. Especially, the text prepared for presentation to an Arab audience with social, cultural and linguistic peculiarities. There are those who have translated and failed at times, and there are those who acted and took the text to the level of creativity.
