It seems that at school, learning languages implies textbooks which impose themselves as pedagogical tools for the scientific, educational and cultural vocation. However, language is incarnated in the literature without4 ever being reduced to it. Language and literature thus convey thought, culture and ideology. But, from its part, the textbook which gives way to the language and the literature is also regarded as an effective transmitter of the principles and ideals, so the regulation of its contents is subject to a meticulous control by the public authorities. Sometimes, and according to contexts, novels become the object of educational content. It is currently the case of high secondary school in Morocco where teaching variety of the languages, with or without textbooks, raises a problem especially that languages have neither the same statute nor the same function or value and consequently generate dichotomies.
